Free French language lessons via visio conference call
Only associations can register learners
ELIGIBILITY
Eligibility for these free lessons :
- must be physically in France due to a life-threatening situation in the country of origin
- must not have the financial means to finance a training course
- can be an adult or a minor
- on condition that we have a voluntary French teacher available.
for minors : during lessons via visio conference, all minors must be physically accompanied on their PC, cellphone or other communication tool they use for the lessons, by a legally responsible adult who makes themselves known to ALFIA prior to any lesson. If this condition is not fulfilled, the lesson cannot take place.

Learning is done by alternating:
- personal study work between the visio conference lessons with the teacher, using the materials indicated by the teacher
- a visio conference lesson with the teacher
The French language lessons offered:
- are taught via visio conference call
- you will have the same teacher every lesson unless circumstances prevent this
- the lessons can be group classes (3 learners), or individual classes
- you do two 60-minute lessons every week
- total number of lessons : 20. you may be able to do more lessons if the teacher is available
- learners over 16 years old must buy from their local bookshop or online these 2 books : 30 Euros. Lessons can only begin when the learner has the books
- the teacher provides materials free of charge for learners under 16 years of age
- the learner must be connected to Internet on his/her computer (PC or Mac) before the lesson starts, so that the teacher can share documents with the learner during the lesson.
- for technical reasons, it is not possible to provide a lesson if the learner is not in a fixed place or does not have his/her PC or Mac connected to internet. It is not possible to do the lesson via a smartphone.
